Representative Case_Bad Faith

An insurance company refused to defend a potential insured in a serious personal injury case. After obtaining a $4,700,000 default judgment against the unrepresented defendant, the insurance company was ultimately forced to accept responsibility for its bad faith refusal to provide a defense. As a result, my client obtained a significant recovery beyond the original $1,000,000 policy limits.
